Poland's Central Statistical Office claims the increased use of renewable energy

In 2018, Poland's Central Statistical Office announced the use of renewable energy in total energy consumption crept up by 0.26 percentage point to 11.16%.

GUS said in a statement on Monday that Poland's gross power consumption rose by 1.13% in 2018, including 3.48% for renewable energy.

The country got 68.88% of its renewable energy from solid biofuels, 12.55% from wind and 10.33% from liquid biofuels.
