On Wednesday, 10th July, a meeting was held between the Energy Minister of Russia ‘Alexander Novak’ and the Chief Executive Officer of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Mr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.
Alexander Novak had a discussion with the Chief Executive Office on issues regarding the mutual cooperation in the production of liquefied natural gas & hydrocarbons, and in geological exploration.
Novak passed the statement which said that the co-operation on the hydrocarbons between the two countries is strengthening and has a great potential in particular. He noted that the bilateral relation in the sphere of liquefied natural gas is particularly promising.
He added that the Russian firms, in particular, the JSC Rusgeology, are set to develop cooperation with United Arab Emirate’s partners in geological exploration of hydrocarbons, inclusive of the help of 3D seismic exploration,
In addition to this, he noted that the co-operation of Russia with the United Arab Emirates is strengthening on the issue of stabilizing the global oil market in the framework of the OPEC+ agreement.
It was concluded by Novak that the preservation of the trust between us, the skill of regularly checking watches on the primary issues of concern is the main key to the stability of the entire world oil market.
A month prior to this, United Arab Emirates’ Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, had a meeting with the Russian Minister of Industry & Trade, Denis Manturov, on the sidelines of his visit to Russia.
During the meeting, a discussion was held by both sides on increasing the strength of their co-operation in multiple areas, inclusive of the trade & industry, and the robust bilateral relations between their countries.
