Health concerns are rising as we become sloppy in our lifestyles and adapt to some real bad habits especially eating habits. Cancers are a huge part of the disease culture now and our bad eating only aids cancers to grow.
Prostate cancer is usually developed slowly, and doctors struggle to predict which tumors will become aggressive, making it hard to treat the disease as most of the cancers. The disease is estimated to affect one in nine men during their lifetime which not alarming but its better to be safe than sorry. Prostate cancer is now killing more people than breast cancer as the awareness for breast cancer has increased. But a new study has said men who eat a certain food may reduce their risk of developing prostate cancer and is the most common cancer in men in the UK. Researchers followed more than 36,000 Japanese men for up to a quarter of a century, and then they found a link between eating mushrooms and having a lower risk of prostate cancer.
Long term follow-up of the participants in the research has indicated that eating mushrooms on a regular basis reduces the risk of prostate cancer in men, and was especially significant in men aged 50 and older and in men whose diet consisted largely of meat and dairy products, with limited consumption of fruit and veg. as the risk rises men should eat mushrooms as a precautionary measure so that they never have to go through the uncomfortable prostate exam. Mushroom twice a week keeps the prostate cancer away.
