The world of athletics is changing as there are new records and new players saw every other day. Although the core athletics may not be as popular as It should have been, the sport is gaining popularity slowly, which is a piece of very good news for the sport as well as the players associated with the sport.
The sport is being pushed by many as it is seeing a decline in the people interested. Colleges are urging the students to take up an interest in athletics. One such example is a trinity. The Department of Athletics is working with the alumni relations department are working together to promote athletics competitions for the prime time at the Alumni Weekend happenings. Aly Lilley, the new Associate Director for Athletic Giving and Engagement is the main influence on this recent new development. Athletics are not for everyone and not all can do it, but the encouragement to do so will definitely create new interest and maybe even spawn some new players in the game and who knows there might be a star just waiting to be discovered. This move by Trinity shows how the students and kids these days need to be pushed to participate in sports which is a growing concern among the people.
This push in the promotion of the game will definitely give some good results and we will be seeing a major change in the overall athletics scene. Let’s see how this fares for the game.
