S. KOREA GOVERNMENT TO INVEST $470 BILLION IN BIOTECHNOLOGY IN FISCAL 2021

• S. Korea government to invest $470 billion in biotechnology in fiscal 2021.
• The country’s Ministry of Science and ICT represents a 24.9% hike from 2020.
• Until 2030 the government plans to spend a total of 2.2 trillion won.
• The ministry also plans to spend a total of 51.3 billion to acquire next-generation biotech.
