SEOUL: Samsung Electronics Co., the world's largest memory chipmaker, ranked 18th worldwide in its market cap vault of 10 notches over the past year, as the South Korean tech giant has continued to build gains from a rosy earnings outlook, data showed.

As of Thursday, Samsung's market cap reached US$ 301.65 billion, up $95.08 billion from January 2, 2019, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
