SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS VICE CHAIRMAN SENTENCED TO 2 ½ YEARS IN PRISON FOR BRIBERY CASE

Highlights –

Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman sentenced to 2 ½ years in prison for bribery case.
The Seoul High Court gave Lee Jae Yong the sentence order.
In February 2017 Lee was charged with giving 29.8 billion won (US$27.4 million) worth of bribes.
The Vice Chairman was previously sentenced to five years in prison in 2017.
