Scientists create DNA stitch to treat patients with muscular dystrophy

A team of researchers from the University of Alberta have developed a new therapeutic method centering on patients suffering from Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD). The treatment is a mixture of DNA-like molecules which in return help in keeping the muscles strong. Furthermore, these are not virtually present in patients with DMD.
