SEOUL: TENSED SITUATION AS NORTH AND SOUTH KOREA EXCHANGE GUNFIRE

• Multiple gunshots were fired by North Korea in the Demilitarized Zone

• According to the JCS, as a response two rounds were fired by the South Korea

As per statement given by South Korean military, on Sunday, multiple gunshots were fired by North Korea on towards us in the Demilitarized Zone which divides the peninsula. In response to this, the South Korean troops had to fireback.
