Today Shell announced that it has successfully used a liquid feedstock made from plastic waste to make high-end chemicals. The process, known as pyrolysis, is deemed a development for hard-to-recycle plastics and is supporting Shell's goal to use one million tons of plastic waste per year by 2025 at its international chemical plants.
