Singapore has unveiled a centralised data platform that it claims would streamline data flows across a fragmented global supply chain. At least 70 companies have already signed up for the data exchange, including shipping companies, banks, and energy providers.

The Singapore Trade Data Exchange (SGTraDex) was originally deployed as a prototype in November 2020, to improve data efficiencies in container movement and financial operatio....
