Sir Jonathan Miller, English theatre and Opera director dies at the age of 85

The distinguished theatre and opera director, Sir Jonathan Miller, who famously starred in the Beyond the Fringe satirical revue, died at the age of 85.

Sir Jonathan Miller was born in 1934 in London. Before embarking on a career in the arts, he studied Medicine at Cambridge.

Miller was an author, a sculptor, a broadcaster, a photographer and a qualified doctor.
