Luke Donald has been selected as the captain of Europe's 2023 Ryder Cup team, taking the place of Henrik Stenson, who lost his position last month after participating in the contentious Saudi-sponsored LIV Golf Series.
Englishman Donald, 44, participated in four Ryder Cups as a player for Europe. On every occasion, including the Miracle at Medinah in 2012, he was a member of the victorious team.
