Australia makes use of drones and virtual reality to aid in safeguarding koala habitat

Researchers at the Queensland University of Technology have made use of a combination of aerial thermal-imaging, land surveys, and virtual reality to construct a model that can gauge the location of koalas and can hence safeguard their habitat.
