Tata Steel plans to cut 3,000 jobs across Europe operations

For its European business, Tata Steel plans to lay off 3000 jobs. Tata Steel is India’s largest steel company. The step has come as a part of their restructuring and transformation programme wherein it attempts to ensure that it thrives in a severe market. Two third of these 3000 jobs are expected to be office-based positions and there would be no plant closure.
