The export portfolio of Korea was diversified during the chip slump in 2019

SEOUL — The outgoing shipments of the Korean chips were substantially lost in the slowdown, data revealed on Sunday.  South Korea's export base became more diversified in 2019.

As per the estimates collected by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Energy, the country outbound shipments of chips declined 26 percent annually to $93.9 billion in 2019.
