More than three years after being held in Islamic State-run facilities in Syria, four Australian women and thirteen children were repatriated to Sydney.
The families returned home for a covert operation and will likely be questioned by police about their whereabouts and actions overseas.
All of the returned women and children were reportedly personally vetted by national security authorities before their return.
