The Japan Apartment Venture of Oyo exited by Softbank’s Yahoo Japan

In the new retroactivity for the loss-making Indian startup, SoftBank-controller Yahoo Japan retired from a Japanese apartment rental business with Oyo Hotels & Homes.

Yahoo Japan said it had resigned from Oyo Life to concentrate on other projects, which included a 33.9 percent stake. This year, the Internet company led a consolidation surge in Japan, purchasing Zozo Mode online and scooping up message service providers Line.
