A manufacturer at Grand Forks expects the recent acquisition of a large laser to reduce the lead time for new orders and provide new contract production options.
The company has acquired a laser from Mazak's location in Chicago at Manufacturing Solutions. Although it cost nearly $500,000, the Trent & Trevor Baumer co-owners, along with sales manager David Upham, are fully aware that it is the right step.
