After Fitbit was acquired by Google for a whopping sum of $2.1 Billion, the craze around smartwatches has been taken to a whole new number game. The current market capitalization of this emerging technology is about $50 Billion, of which apple and Garmin enjoy the lion’s share, and then you have Chinese companies like Xiomi and their brands like Mi and Redmi that have launched their respective smartwatches.
