Meteo-France released a statement on Tuesday predicting that October 2022 will be the warmest October month in France since records began in 1900.
With an average temperature near to or just above 17 degrees Celsius (63 degrees Fahrenheit) - three to four degrees above typical levels - last month was significantly warmer than October 2001, when the average temperature was 16.3C.
