Toxic Algal blooms in Great Lakes can be prevented by managing reservoirs

A new research suggests that to prevent the growth of algal blooms in lakes, reservoirs shall be managed. The study reveals the result for Great lakes, in the summer season, particularly Lake Eyrie.  

The study was conducted at the University of Waterloo and involved the data from Canada and the United States. Data was collected from Great Lake’s watershed for more than 200 testing locations. Nandita Basu, member, Wat....
