UK Government imposes restrictions on drug exports

In order to protect NHS patient’s access to medicines, the UK government has announced a ban on some of the drug exports. According to reports, the 24 drugs banned mainly included hormone replacement therapy drugs, adrenaline pens and contraceptives. The move was attributed to the shortage of every major type of medicine found by local pharmacists within the past six months.
