UK government plans to introduces new fast track visas

To address workforce shortages in the state-funded National Health Service (NHS), the UK government on Thursday confirmed plans to introduce a new visa for qualified doctors and nurses from countries around the world, including India.

Boris Johnson, Prime Minister had made references for the new ‘NHS visa’ on the election campaign trail. It was confirmed on Thursday as part of the Queen’s Speech in Parliament.
