Underwater museum in the Dominican Republic

In the Caribbean country, the researchers at Indiana University Center for Underwater Science, have partnered with the government of the Dominican Republic and have opened "Living Museum in the Sea”.

An extension of the center's agenda is to protect and conserve the historic shipwrecks, coastal environments. The museums are open to the public and must be opened by snorkeling or scuba diving.
