URAD IMPORTS WILL LIKELY TO EXTEND TILL JUNE

The Indian government is planning to extend urad dal imports to another three months i.e. till June. The imports are continuing due to the shortage of domestic production. It is estimated that around 4,00,000 tons a fiscal of urad dal are expected to import till June.
