U.S. ambassador to Seoul as the deadline for the failed negotiations with North Korea

SEOUL-On Sunday, the U.S. Special Envoy for North Korea will arrive in South Korea ahead of a year-end deadline set for Washington by Pyongyang to change its approach to stalled denuclearization negotiations, Seoul and Washington said on Friday.

Stephen Biegun is going to be in Seoul for a three-day stay and meet with his counterpart Lee Do-hoon and other officials, the foreign ministry of South Korea said Friday.
