The United States has been known as the world's most competitive economy and this is also true to its growth trend that has always been an uproar no matter what but ever since President Donald Trump took office in the year 2016 the economic growth of the nation seems to have stalled with bad decisions and somewhat silly comments from the head of the nation.
President Donald Trump on Thursday 10th October at a Minneapolis rally minimized the ongoing threat of the Islamic State and overstated his economic success, declaring inaccurately that China would have overtaken the U.S. as the world’s largest economy if he wasn’t president. Trump stated that if the Democrats had won the elections and came to power China would have become the world’s number one economy and also claimed that they are not even close with him in the office. His claims are absolutely silly even though the Chinese economic output has surged since Trump took office but that hasn’t slowed its growth and is still near and completely on track to overtake the US economy very soon.
the International Monetary Fund expects Chinese GDP to increase by 6.2%, more than double the 2.6% growth it expects for the United States. But it’s got a long way to go to surpass the U.S. Although China has a long way to cover this does not mean the US can say it has won the race. The nation’s economy is on the brink of a recession if they don’t make proper amends they will be the ones to be hit worst by the upcoming crisis.
