US economy will witness a slow start but not a recession

Alan Beaulieu, President, ITR Economics said that the US economy will have a soft first half. In the second half, it will provide a rebound to business spending. The strength of the second half will temporarily prevent a recession.  

Beaulieu is a forecast specialist for long-term economic cycles. He had begun predicting the 2019 slowdown in 2014 only.
