U.S. PHARMA COMPANY BAXTER TO INVEST RS 100 CRORE TO SET UP GLOBAL R&D HEADQUARTERS IN INDIA

• Baxter has decided to invest a sum of Rs 100 crore in order to set up its global research and development (R&D) headquarters in Ahmedabad, India

• The company at present has a R&D and information technology (IT) centre in the city of Bengaluru along with a manufacturing unit in Ahmedabad

• According to Das, Baxter has already purchased space for this project near Ahmedabad
