Use of Opioids for treatment more or drug abuse?

As the United States has a huge healthcare system the number of patients in the country is also huge there is an abundance of drugs that causes overdoses by the patients and is a huge cause for a substantial number of people dying from the cause.
The use of opioids as medications in moderation is okay but when they are taken haphazardly and irresponsibly they can cause seizures and cause people to even die due to ODing on these opioids ....
