What are you going to do?
Are you confused to buy a cover for cancer? People who believe they are at average risk of developing cancer should opt for a cancer policy, depending on one's family history. Nevertheless, getting only a stand-alone cancer plan may not be an ideal option; it is not a replacement for health insurance policies.
Unlike the health insurance policies that cover the actual expenses, cancer insurance plans offer lump-sum compensation or a portion of the guaranteed sum.
Experts suggest that while opting for a cancer cover, other than the premium, it is better to look at the policy's benefits, features, and exclusions. Find out if the plan includes advantages such as cancer insurance at all stages, payouts at all points, has a premium exemption option and comes with a long-term policy.
