By collaborating with ‘Statista’, an analytics firm, Forbes declared America’s Best Employers on the basis of an independent survey conducted from a huge sample of over a 50,000 employees of the United States who were working for companies. Participants were made to rate how likely they would like to recommend their employer to others, on a scale of 0 to 10. In addition to this there, respondents were also requested to assess other employers who stood out either negatively or positively in the industries they were working.
Chief HR Officer of Vail Resorts, Lyanne Kunkel stated: “Our mission is to create an Experience of a Lifetime for our employees so they can, in turn, provide an Experience of a Lifetime to guests visiting our resorts around the world. We are committed to the ongoing investment in the development of our extraordinary talent and appreciate this recognition by Forbes.”
The efforts put in by the company to advance women in an industry which is traditionally dominated by male made them earn the title of ‘Best Employer for Diversity’ by Forbes.
