Waiting lines at hospitals and clinics in the Netherlands are rapidly increasing

Waiting lists have risen again in hospitals and specialists in the Netherlands. In 2019 patients wanting to see a gastroenterologist or ophthalmologist were, according to figures from research institute Mediquest, required a seven-week period on average for their first appointment, which is two weeks longer than in 2015.
