This region has the largest source for Opal mining in the world. Located in South Australia Coober Pedy typically has extreme hot weather conditions, with temperatures ranging from 30 degree Celsius to 53 degree Celsius throughout the year. This region does not receive much rainfall so therefore, the local community has come up with solution to live underground.
The houses are dug underground and have all the modern facilities.....
