Windows 10 Failure to mask malware as legitimate applications

Microsoft has been alerted by the US National Security Agency about a flaw in Windows 10 that could be exploited to make malware appear like a legitimate program.

On Tuesday, Microsoft released a patch to fix the flaw, which also affects Windows Server 2016 and Windows Server 2019. The "spoofing vulnerability" includes CryptoAPI of the operating system, also known as Crypt32.dll, which can be used for encryption and decrypt....
