The FMCG sector of India is flourishing like no other sector and the sector is not showing any signs of slowing anytime soon. Although the rural demand for these products has seen a downward trend and the companies are doing everything they can to make it an upward trend
Wipro consumer a soap manufacturer from India has optimistic views of the FMCG market and is expecting a huge boom in demand from the rural parts as the monsoon has been quite favourable for the rural areas and benefitted them a lot.
The product from Wipro’s manufacturing is Santoor which is largely popular in the rural areas as the same it is in urban areas. The CEO of Wipro’s soap business has said that they have great hopes of rise in demand from the rural sector for almost all FMCG products. As the company prepares to see a great demand hike it is putting a new plant in Hyderabad and is expecting to make it operational by 2020. Wipro’s optimism is great and will be doing wonders for them as a positive attitude towards thing is always good and time and again this has been proven by almost all of the businesses.
We expect that the estimation of Wipro turns out to be true which will be a great boon for the FMCG sector and will boost the gains of the sector by manifold and balance out the deficits of the economy that have been mounting amid the slowdown of the economy.
