Finances in India are taking some huge hits and now the government is trying to make amends to the broken finance sector. Although no significant efforts are seen by the nation to aid its finances.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday said that the Goods and Services Tax, even if faulty, cannot be damned as it has been passed by Parliament and in all state assemblies.
"It might have flaws, it might probably give you difficulties but it is not going to change but I am sorry, it's the 'kanoon' of the country now and that is what you have to work with," the finance minister said while interacting with businessmen, entrepreneurs, CAs and others in PuneThe finance minister has gone crazy with her stupid arguments about taxis and all the way I put it is she does not have any financial knowledge required to run the finance ministry and to run the nation's finance. BJP leaders are only good at speeches they should stick to that and let the learned people deal with issues like finance and defense of the nation.
The finance minister stated that rather than complaining, the various stakeholders in the GST structure must come up with solutions to increase compliance, also she stated that It's been only two years she wished she met with your expectations from Day 1. But she is sorry it is not so. But you all are a party to it, let's own it up. On GST, I want all of us to give solutions for better compliance.
