On 27 December, Japan Post Holdings Co.'s top three executives revealed that they would resign on 5 January over the insurance sales fiasco that first came to light more than a year and a half ago. The statement comes on the heels of a Financial Services Agency mandate for the firm's subsidiaries to suspend insurance product sales for three months beginning Jan. 1.
