As officials of the United States press an enormous case for suspected generic drug price-fixing, the authorities in the United Kingdom have disclosed an example of competitors working almost hand in hand with each other. Alissa Healthcare Research and King Pharmaceuticals, which both vended nortriptyline, an antidepressant drug, confessed that they exchanged ‘commercially sensitive information’ for the sake of keeping the prices high. ....
