Recent National Green Tribunal moves in India

For determining environmental compensation of illegal marble mining at Saren Phala and Nichla Phala, Udaipur, Rajasthan, National Green Tribunal (NGT) directed Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) on 26 November 2019 to submit a further action-taken report. The earlier assessment of compensation by the RSPCB was found erroneous by the Tribunal as it ignored the norms laid down by the Central Pollution Control Board and the tribunal.....
