South Korea continues to require masks inside.

For the first time since it was implemented more than a year ago, South Korea announced Friday that it will be eliminating its mask requirement outdoors.

The rule, which went into force in April of last year, mandates that attendees of public events with big crowds, including as protests, sporting competitions, and concerts, remain masked. Masks won't be required outside at all starting the following week.
