Telecom companies were hungry for money, your mobile bill could grow to 30 per cent

KOLKATA: The country's billion-plus mobile users may have to plan for more dramatic increases in telecommunications bills by the end of 2020 itself with telcos likely to raise rates by another 25-30 per cent with average revenue per user (ARPU) still small and overall telecom-related consumer spending in India among the world's lowest, industry leaders and analysts said.
