This year, a legal battle was fought in Thailand’s Constitutional Court where a petition was tossed against the current Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha seeking his removal over violation of some articles of the constitution.
The Pheu Thai Party (PTP) submitted the petition to House Speaker Chuan Leekpai. The no-confidence debate against the Prime Minister is said to take place in February 2022.
