The CDC in the United States is expanding the use of Bivalent COVID vaccines for children as young as six months

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States increased the use of COVID-19 vaccinations, which target both the original coronavirus and Omicron sub-variants, to children aged 6 months to 5 years old on Friday.

The news comes only one day after the U.S. The FDA has approved the modified injections from Moderna, Pfizer, and its partner BioNTech for use in youngsters as young as 6 months.
