The United Kingdom's biggest post-Brexit deal is joining an Asia-Pacific trade pact.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak announced on Friday that the United Kingdom would be joining 11 other countries in a major Asia-Pacific trade partnership, marking the largest post-Brexit trade deal for the country.

As the first European country to join, Britain will also make history as the first new member of the CPTPP since it was established in 2018.
