Wind Farm Secures Offtake Deal With Google in Sweden

Google can purchase the bulk of electricity created by the Björkvattnet onshore wind energy facility as a part of its major renewable energy spree.

The Swedish deal was negotiated with GE Renewable Energy, which backed the project’s developers and provided turbines for the 175-megawatt project. Power from there is going to be used for Google’s regional information centers.
